afan
It was a natural progression isn't it? There cannot be 2 captains in Limited Overs format, besides this will help reduce Kohlis stress and he can fully focus on Test matches Link to comment

Sean Bradley
Welcome this move. Kudos to whoever the hell have done this. Took 2 Worldcups, 1 Champions trophy, and 7 years of failure as RCB captain for BCCI to realise that Kohli can never be a Leader. Edited December 9, 2021 by Sean Bradley Reddysaab 1 Link to comment

cowboysfan
Kohli should not even be in the test team let alone the captain,he has lost all his confidence and is a shell of his former self. Link to comment

asterix
RCB & Kohli fans have gone Bessel. They’ve been trending Ganguly in social media and cursing him for removing Kohli. Link to comment
Texan
Interestingly, Kohli hasn't congratulated Rohit Sharma on Twitter yet. He needs to show more grace in his exit. Link to comment
asterix
Very satisfying news item, if it’s true. That’s how BCCI should’ve treated this idiot long time back… We could’ve got more of Rohit’s captaincy and more wins… https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/india-in-south-africa/virat-kohli-refuses-to-step-down-bcci-cracks-whip-opts-for-proven-leader-in-rohit-sharma/articleshow/88171735.cms rollingstoned 1 Link to comment
mancalledsting
Rohit's a fantastic choice as captain. After all he has all the attributes of a great leader and inspiration: i) Very hard working and takes fitness seriously ii) Made the most of all his talent and cricketing ability iii) Never puts personal score above team needs iv) Very young and can build a legacy for years to come v) Exceeds in tough conditions i.e. sharp turn and quick bowling Good to see BCCI bhabhus are really measured in their selections. I see the sarcasm there… but what many of you are asking would’ve been a drastic change and both Kohli and Rohit would’ve screwed the new “young” Captain. BCCI just used one powerful but less controversial player to remove another powerful and highly egoistic player. Cricspin 1 Link to comment
