Chances of winning tosses for sure. He won 3/3 against nz and in lois when match is between top 6 / 7 nations 90 perc matches are won by team winning the toss. The last LOI match which india lost against a top 6 team was way back in 2020 , 3rd t20 against aus in aus where india elected to field after winning the toss but lost by 10-15 odd runs. The 3rd match was anyways dead as india had won the series. Since then india has not lost a single LOI match against any team after winning the toss.

There is not much time to build a team for WC23. Just making Rohit captain won't help. The potential core team members ( identify 2 members for each position)  should be selected and played at least from SA series onwards . No dilly dallying here .
