Gambhir highlighted how Kohli was okay in the 1st innings when he got a 50-50 call on caught behind and when Mayank was given a reprieve in a similar fashion

"Kohli is very immature. It's worst for an Indian captain to say like this in stumps. By doing this you will never be an idol to youngsters. In the first innings, you got a 50-50 call on caught behind then you were silent and in Mayank appeal too. I think Dravid will talk to him on this topic," Gambhir said on Star Sports.

Got to admire Gambhir for having balls for calling Kohli 'immature' (which Kohli definitely is) publicly, even saying he can't be an idol for youngsters lol. He had even gone after Dhoni on several occasions.

All Indian commentators are scared of openly criticising the big fishes because of the abuse they will face online by their toxic fanbois.

Yup Gambhir was no saint. But unlike Gambhir, Kohli's antics harms his own team more than the opposition. Yesterday was a perfect example.

Aur kya haal hai GOAT test captain k sa series victory Mubarak ho aapke jaise fans ko. Because in PR books it would already be victory.

Also, Gambhir wouldnt have lasted one over in similar conditions. He is a flat track bully if ever there was one. Some of his good knocks overseas were scored on patta wickets.

lol what sort of logic is this? when ever someone tries to criticize Kohli's behavior they bring either his batting stats or performance or show other's batting failure when it has nothing to do with what is being discussed. Do we need to call bradman to criticize Kohli's on field behavior?

Anyway Kohli should never be the role model for youngsters especially kids.

He definitely is sadly, even excluding the paid trolls there's enough diehard fans of that guy to fill Eden Gardens probably 10x over!

It was about Pant & Dussen ...

I know it was about that catch and then RVD had something to say (don't know what exactly he said) but kohli is bring up age difference here and i can remember so many instance where he went at young players like ishan kishan & abused him for random ipl match.

He had some very good knocks in 2010 SA series on some really lively tracks.

He batted well in the third test in 2010, infact stayed not out and got us a draw.
