Acting and story is ok, but totally put off by dialogues which is what the direction is all about. Too many facking f-bombs in dialogues, puts you off.?Even Hollywood movies curtail such speech, our guys want to reach out and are found so stretching. The movie should be called

Sex, Lies, Sports Bras, and F-bombs

I don't know why this movie is getting such mixed reviews tbh. It's so much better than the average 2.5 star rating it's getting.

Yeah, the f - bombs are off putting but, the director is trying to tell a story that hasn't really been told in Indian movies before.

Deepika gave a stellar performance. Zain was just annoying from the beginning.

It's a one time watch for me. The subject matter is a bit too heavy for repeat viewing - incest, suicide, mis carriage, infidelity. Geez.

I hate hate it when people type hindi in English. why cant they use,the devanagiri script for Pete's sake.

English comprehension has been made compulsory in schools & competitive exams.  No wonder barely people use any sort of Devanagri script anymore.

In South Mumbai, they are more LA than LA.

Saw a R rated movie from Hollywood, it had 2 F bombs and some mature content. This movie had profanity in every other line. Everybody acted well if they didn’t mouth some lines.

Actually the movie could have been way better if not for these guys behaving like folks from South LA.

Deepika gave a stellar performance no doubt.

This seems to be a common theme with all the Web series. Noticed this is "Bombay Begums", "Decoupled" and now, "Gehraiyaan".

Affluent/rich characters are written such that they speak with a fake ass foreign accent, use abbreviations, swear at the drop of hat, use words like "fam", "lit", "bro" etc.

It's just fake and off putting.

Deepika single handedly carries the film, it's difficult not to feel her anguish. N Shah also does a good job. The two are the most "real" of the lot.

Exactly.  No wonder Hindi Cinema is dying.

Top tier directors like Anurag Kashyap,  Motwane are busy in making Anti Hindu,  Anti Govt content.  These same people used to bring out the best in Indian cinema.  Rest are not even worth mentioning.

These new age makers are heavily influenced by Western style of filmmaking.  They are constantly failing to make any sort of connection with audiences.  Prime reason why audiences can't connect with them.

The use of F word can be explained by increasing influence of series content. Especially series like succession. We don't have unique voice anymore. It's just pastiche.

Most HBO series are strictly adult viewing & they have their target audiences.

Look at Gangs of Wasseypur...  It has so many desi expletives.  They may not look cool as F words but at least they are original.
