cric_fan Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Not by much. Takes one defeat or loss for this table to flip. God knows how it’s worked out.
vvvslaxman Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Windies beat B string England B string India beat Windies That was all needed?

Frustrated Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Yesterday's victory was India's 9th successive victory in T20. 3 against minnows (in WT20), 3 against NZ, and 3 against Windies. SRT100 and Axl100mph 1 1

Ranking is even a worse joke. This belongs to leagues. Not internationals. On a given day anyone can win. Australia was an average T20 side. They had guys like Steve smith in the side who finished with a strike rate under 100 in the world T20. Couple of knocks from Marsh boom they won the cup. Vijy 1

No, by any means they are not minnows here and now. Chakdephatte 1
zen Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Hopefully, will be competitive and not get smashed at the upcoming WC
Lone Wolf Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 India wins a lot of T20 bilaterals.. The other day they became fastest side to 100 T20 wins breaking Pakistan's record. Australia lost like 4 series b2b but peaked at right time to win the World Cup.
SK_IH Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Don't get fooled by these rankings, India is a highly mediocre T20 side. Lord 1

They got bowled out for 62 or something. One of the reason is they never play full strength side in bilateral T20s. Infact not even half strength. At best quarter strength team. Generally they send a bunch of noobs. Only team that took bi laterals way too seriously was Pakistan. India quiet often rested Bumrah and Kohli. But we still had guys like Rohit.
neel roy Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 India for that matter hasnt lost a full fledged t20 series in aus,eng and South Africa. They have lost one off t20 but never a series. Its also net positive against all teams in terms of head to head. Its remarkable actually just by stats Chakdephatte 1

We are clearly over ranked. Its a manipulated ranking. I would not even have India in the Top 4, let alone Ranked 1. Vijy and Adamant 2

And NZ may be tired but still a good team who reached to semis. India are rightly called bilateral kings.. and so far that's they are (until they win a damn ICC cup).

We are an overrated odi side but that's shaping up well now. In t20 we always do well in bikaterals. Due to some *tard selections we always mess up in the WC stage. The t20 WC exit was due to workload from ipl. We were tired. ABDfan 1
