Meanwhile, Kohli seems to be scoring well only on yo-yo and nothing with the bat..

Exactly. He was passing yo yo tests with flying colors even in the past and then dropping more than half the catches that came his way. So is he really "fit" in cricketing terms?

What is Rohit and Pant's score? or even Ashwin?

Pant scored 17.3 last time he had to take one. They said Rohit and Ashwin cleared it but not sure about the score

In any case that doesn't excuse a 24 year old guy to score less than 15. Even women cricketers will score more than that

What is wrong with Pant's fitness? Keeps superbly or entire test matches and also seemed to have shed some kilos.

But his belly passed the buffet test  :hungry:

Shaw won't make it at high level if he can't even maintain basic fitness levels. He should be embarrassed for being so out of shape at his age.

he seems proud of it, looking at the pic in that ESPN cricinfo article. seems to have a very mid-20th century attitude to fitness

He could win us a WC at the top of the batting order potentially.  As part of a well designed batting unit.

He won't be facing domestic trundlers in important world cup matches

Not good enough then. So much for being called as prodigy and the next Tendulkar Lara coming. He doesn't belong.
Has talent but his laid back approach will bring him down unless he acts fast.

Mayank is much better option. Plus he's a gun fielder, no need to hid him on field
