Well tbf you'd want to face them but don't get them out for 15 overs, see the meltdown on PP then :pop2:

A run a ball partnership between these two for 15 overs would be lovely.

Their lower order allowing them to stack up their side with 6 bowlers. 4 fast 2 spin 1 part time.  Basically their batting is light weight. If as a team make inroad i nto their top order teams shouldn't let go off the noose. They should continue attacking and bowl them out under 100. Most of them are leg side hacks.

Yep. Lightweight yes but all it takes in T20 is a few cameos and they've got good enough batsmen for that, and the bowling to defend low par scores.

And It also means some one like Haris can come in and slog from the word go because he knows he's got Nawaz and Shadab at 6 and 7.

Ferguson can be the key for NZ team, pak has struggled against high pace recently, but they going to use Ferguson upfront ...

This is at the SCG. At Perth their slogging doesn't work

Imagine kohli at the toss, he won’t need no tiger t-shirt in the first place.

Have to admire their selections, we would never have guys like Haris and Wasim playing for us after just one T20 season.

More importantly its their players improving.. Nawaz looked a mediocre player when I was first saw him, Shadab has grown leaps from a jack of all trades good for nothing player, Naseem looks a brilliant death bowler. Chachu has re-emerged as Younis Khan (though he is like 10 years older).

Pakistan is on a roll and they have all the momentum and confidence going into the final. In T20, nobody can predict the outcome but its going to take a special effort to beat them now.

Indeed this.....  Gullible Indian fans & so call gadhere twitter experts are now getting surprised with Pakistan's win.

That being said if India does makes it to MCG we have every chance to win.  Hopefully Pant fires in the KO's...  Coz that would give us a lot of buffer in case Ro Ko or SKY fail.

What I like about this Pak team, is they seem lot more sorted and mentally stable. Even though they had talent in the past, they used to be very unprofessional and prone to collapses and controversies and infighting and never looked liked a professional unit. In fact, they used to be a laughing stock because of all the drama off the field. But seems like this side is lot more professional and focused on their job.

Rizwan the leg side lapadu is mentally very strong...  Perhaps being too religious helps him out.

Haris the new guy is fearless &,  without any baggage.  Shadab is a fighter.  Chachu is veteran.

Babar still I feel has choking gene in him.

What is a cornered tiger btw?

It was a takia-kalaam given by recently shot ex-PM, that tigers become most dangerous when they're cornered.
Advised the team to behave like a cornered tiger and attack ferociously on their opponenets.

In CT 2017 we were resounding favorites. Nobody knew about Fakhar then

Before the final there was a thread about the potential threat posed by Fakhar Zaman's edges flying to the boundary. Astute ICFers identified his potential before he became famous!

He edged his way to a century. I think most teams would take anyone who can edge their way to 100s.
