Why make it Pak / Ind?? If India is 3rd world, then Pak is 72nd world country or 71st from 1971 vvvslaxman, spiritb2, Iconoclast and 3 others 5 1 Link to comment

Lone Wolf
Aussies only care about Ashes & home test season... This WC is like Ok we won another one so yeah... They didn't care about T20 WC win too. Australia securing FIFA WC qualification was wildly celebrated though. Link to comment
Gollum
Final boss for a reason. Here in India we will have annual celebration of 1983 and 2011 wins for next 400 years. raki05, Chalks, rtmohanlal and 5 others 1 7 Link to comment
Mariyam
More people were at the airport to see off my sister after her annual vacation to India. And she really isn’t popular in the family. Shame on the Aussies nevada, Lord, EnterTheVoid and 3 others 6 Link to comment
sage
Did Cummins family not greet him either? lol Link to comment
EnterTheVoid
Ho hum reception in Australia. Won the cup for a six time. They are so used to winning that winning the WC just doesn't create the ripples it used to create in the past. Link to comment
Bigg Brother
World cricket needs to glorify players like Cummins more . The guy is a fighter and no nonsense cricketer among very obnoxious players. Captaining a team like Australia as a bowler isn't easy, Go to BigFooty, and you will see how fans were asking for his head after Australia lost 2 matches in WC and failed to win the Test series here in India. They are equally passionate but not gavar and brainless like us. Anyway kudos to this guy, WC,WTC FINAL and Ashes retention in same year, almost win the series here if not for our pitch doctors.. Aussies care more about Boxing Day test and the Gabba record, both of which we won last time. Indians care more about ODI World Cups, especially this one at home being Kohli and Rohit's last one. They won it. I think most Indians and Australians would happily exchange the results. mani sha 1 Link to comment

Boxing day test is a huge occasion in Aussie calendar... But don't think they would swap a away ODI WC for that. If if was an Ashes one then surely they would. See Pak is playing Boxing day test in Aus this time... Aussies wouldn't care about it as much as when England tours.. India Aus rivalry is still in its infancy so far. India doesn't even has a dedicated test match calendar. We are playing ODIs during Republic day or T20 on Diwali lol.. That's how it goes here. Link to comment
sage
Australians do care about cricket, they're not not mad enough to harangue players at airports. I care about cricket a lot and don't do that either. Link to comment

DeepSpace
Because hero-worshipping is not the style in Australia and therefore players are not spoilt brats?? Link to comment
