diga Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 I was secretly hoping that Rohit would retire and Ashwin would be named the next captain for Ind home series.. Guess he lost his motivation after 3-0 loss
Sgattick10 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 It's official R Ashwin announces retirement from Internation cricket. What a glorious journey. Well done Anna Mosher, Vickydev, express bowling and 1 other 4

saransh Posted December 18, 2024 Author Posted December 18, 2024 Legend of the game, will thoroughly miss his services especially in home conditions. Go well man! Tillu, Lord and raki05 1 2
bahadur_billa Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Still had it in him for atleast one more home season. SandeepMotta 1
Popular Post Lord Posted December 18, 2024 Popular Post Posted December 18, 2024 Retiring after one bad series. Kohli hanging on after 5 bad years Mosher, Laaloo, raki05 and 14 others 3 6 8
ash Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Probably they told him that it will be either Washington or Jadeja in Sydney and Melbourne. Will miss his bowling in Tests. Stan AF, Tillu, Lord and 1 other 2 2
Gambit Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 An absolute Titan of Indian cricket. While he is probably our greatest Test spinner, I am happy he won a World Cup and a CT too. Probably the most cerebral Indian cricketer of all time. rollingstoned, Vk1, South_Paw and 6 others 4 5
deathmonger Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 This is super dumb. He would be useful in MCG/SCG. Issue with India is the bowling backup after the initial burst. He can easily replace Reddy and play as a tight stock bowler. Was good in Adelaide. SandeepMotta 1
jf1gp_1 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 End to a glorious career. World cup and ct winner. Part of no1 test side. 500+ test wickets 700+ international wickets with 6 test hundreds. Thanks Ashwin for everything. raki05, mani sha, Gollum and 4 others 1 1 5
deathmonger Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 1 minute ago, ash said: Probably they told him that it will be either Washington or Jadeja in Sydney and Melbourne. Will miss his bowling in Tests. Should have played both Jadeja and him. He is still a good bowler and can bowl tight.
vvvslaxman Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Just now, Lord said: Retiring after one bad series. Kohli hanging on after 5 bad years If Siraj had held on to the catch lol May be just may be.. Ravi jadeja playing this test is the right call. But deep down playing in and out and also facing criticism from his own fans probably pushed him over the edge. He always gave so much importance to test cricket. Worked hard to analyze players. So many players don't really bother to play Tests as it doesn't really make you money. Hope Sundar picks up the baton and shows the same enthusiasm to play Tests. Tillu 1
Lord Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Should have captained India at some point, atleast in India. Gollum, Vk1, Manucrick and 4 others 1 6
Need4Speed Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Wishing him the best for future..saved India countless times.. express bowling, jf1gp_1, Vk1 and 2 others 5
