Ro-Ko strike back (The wait for 'Ro-Ko' is over and it's okay to be a bit emotional about it)

The paid media bumlicking is so intense.

I think the sheer ability of RO-KO to hit a pull shot of a delivery above waist height  for a SIX and then 37 crore Indian viewers ( rest are sensible and have better things to do) going nuts including the Indian commentators treating it like a divine miracle - we have got classic cricket theatre at its finest best.

I'll be excited to hear about their retirement across all the formats

Wish we had Jaiswal and Sai in the team instead of these two has beens.

Response to this thread shows how "excited" fans are lol

Biggest challenge both of them will find is that the dressing room has moved on from them. Last 4-5  months have seen a generation shift and both of them will feel it.

Players and coaches would still be respectful to them but highly unlikely they will still be the center of all attention, like earlier. It'll be not the same as a Sachin or Dravid playing under say Dhoni. They had not retired from other formats, continued to play domestic cricket when available etc.

Have no doubt the legends as they have been, both will still find ways to score runs but their longevity is not going to be about runs alone.

At the airport if I see Abhishek Sharma on my left and Sachin Tendulkar on my right, I am going right to see Tendulkar.

When playing XI of t20 against Australia is announced I only want to see Abhishek while Sachin can sit home.

Don't know about Kohli but I am worried Rohit will struggle.
