fineleg Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 MSD lahori logic? or fond of Axar Patel? sscomp32, tweaker, New guy and 1 other 3 1
WC2011INDIA Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Bumrah is a total munaf patel with the bat.
G_B_ Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 hmm you dont know what happens behind the scenes. If Pandya was asked and he said he wants to bat deep in the batting order as a young player MSD and Kumble have to ensure that he is comfortable. Lord, sscomp32 and tweaker 3
sscomp32 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 You are never satisfied do you. Hardik is the fav player of MSD now that Ashwin/Jadeja are not in the team. I haven't seen MS back any fast bowler like he does for hardik. Last match i was shocked to see the field MS had for him. WC2011INDIA, Rasgulla and tweaker 3
fineleg Posted October 20, 2016 Author Posted October 20, 2016 ^ We are talking abt MSD's support for his batting, not about his support for bowling.
rkt.india Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Axar isn't bad and he was doing pretty well before he mistimed that shot.

gakgupta Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Well...small decisions make difference between winning and losing.... Hardik instead of axar might had sealed te game for india Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk tweaker and Ironhide 2

The Realist Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Dhoni has always had a thing for young malnourished left-handers. Promoted Jadeja in 2009 T20 WC but got knocked out v Eng. Axar Patel is continuing the losing tradition of Dhoni fetishes. Lannister, New guy and Ironhide 3

Axar Patel is continuing the losing tradition of Dhoni fetishes. Dhoni loves malnourished left handers. Maybe it's how they grip the ball in their left hands which Dhoni,likes... tweaker, Ironhide, Lannister and 2 others 4 1

Took an odd risk. He is still very young. I have seen his potential in domestic cricket and also on Aus A tour with the bat. He might look malnourished but generates some amazing power in his shots. He is going to be better than Jadeja with the bat. Bleed-Blue and tweaker 2

sandeep Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 What OP wants to hear is, Dhoni sux etc etc. So what if Axar has shown batting ability in his career, and has the ability to hit the big shot. So what a left-handed batsman would have better odds with 2 left-arm spinners playing. Bottomline is Dhoni sux. Happy? sscomp32, tweaker and Lord 3

Texan Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 With the two left arm spinners, it made sense. Probably was looking for some quick runs as Axar is capable of slogging the spinners and Pandya to be kept for the end overs. I don't see that the other way round may have impacted the result much. tweaker 1
