Vilander Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) he is playing to gallery folks, let him be. But you gotta admit their team is f'n good. We can only match it if we win at waca by out pacing them, whats the probability of that ? Time to keep our mouths shut and get on with it. Edited March 6, 2017 by Vilander
Lannister Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 So if Aussies sledge they are respecting the opposition. Yeah right. sscomp32 and express bowling 2

Iconoclast Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 There is a time and a place and a way to sledge. A captain of a national team sledging a 20 year old kid for getting sick is wrong on so many levels. Poor poor behavior from Kohli. sscomp32, Ultimate_Game, AuxiliA and 5 others 1 7

Either you do it or you don't. I remember hearing Tendulkar was sledged like anything on his first tour to Aus when he was 17 or 18 as soon as Aus realized he was the major thorn in their flesh. When Tendulkar and Shastri were batting at Sydney and Shastri had completed his century the sledging was pretty bad and Tendulkar told Shastri in the middle "Let me get to my hundred also and then I will sledge back". Saw it on one of the cricket related programs/interviews. Plus we all recall how Hayden wanted to box with a 19 year old Ishant and Aussies were all very fine with it. And the less said about likes of Healy, Haddin, Slater and company the better. In fact I also recall an Aussie sledging related story against Kiwis which is as distasteful as it comes. Chris Cairns had recently lost his sister in a train accident and when he came out to bat the Aussies greeted him by making the sound of a train "choo choo". This incident happened in 90s when the great Healy was in the Aussie team. Google the incident and then let us know what you think. TheWall, sscomp32, Lord and 1 other 4
Gollum Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Most of the Aussies are such crybabies and hypocrites . Hope we win this test and rub it in their faces even more. sscomp32 1
speedheat Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 This is hypocrisy of highest level express bowling and sscomp32 2
King Tendulkar Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I am not just saying this cos of what he has just said . Not cos Aussie as many comms are brilliant like Hayden this series but Healy always struck me as having low Iq. They way he speaks is a bit thick . Like a good solid working class down to earth Aussie . A good bloke . But intelligence , always seems missing something lol

Also I respect Kohli and think he a decent guy but I don't think a captain should be engaging in this stuff. Someone else should be doing the dirty bit.
