Clueless & Corrupt Kaptan King Kohli

When was the last time we played a Test without a spinner? The only occasion that comes to mind is Perth 2012, which we lost by an innings

I remember a test in SA and Australia. In Australia, it should always be an option to go with 4 pacers with 0 spinner.

We've lost many matches by an innings where we've played a spinner as well. That is irrelevant to me. Our bowling stocks were so bad one of our 4 pacers in Perth was Vinay Kumar.

Neither is Ashwin a proven world beater. He had a good 1st Test, looked unthreatening in this 2nd test. Let him prove to be some undroppable, consistent across condition spinner like Warne b/f making him captain.  To me a batsman has to be captain.

Will he lose captaincy after this series loss or batting will save him?

He is an atrocious on field captain but he can't be blamed for this series loss.Batting is almost non existent

Kohli : "When you come so close, there is an art of crossing the line as well, which we will have to learn. We have the ability, which is why we are getting close to a result"

So, it took nearly 2 years in his captaincy to realise that his team doesnt know art of crossing line. You forgot that art the day you handed CT to Pakistan and you never gonna learn it.

He is bound to get more shockers and go through many more realizations as he makes more overseas tours with these under performing group of batsmen. Like it is said Yeh to sirf trailer hai, picture abhi baaki hai mere dost :giggle: Probably he will get used to the conditions based performance trends as most Indian fans have.

In few years he will ask in PC after overseas series loss "When is the next home test series"? That will be the day he would be wiser rather than getting frustrated. I'm sure the dude will grow up.

He needs to be stripped of captaincy in two formats.

Let me give an example. Before the start of series, English experts were worried about how they will handle Kuldeep.

Shashtri/Kohli selected Kuldeep on a pitch on which all 30 wickets were taken by pace bowlers. Ashin got 0 wickets. Rashid bhai didnt bowl a single over. So on basis of that non performance, Kuldeep was ruled out. At Trent bridge, Englan realised that Kuldeep is definitely not playing while facing Indian pacers is equally problematic.

So they knew Kuldeep is not playing and India wont play two offspinner. Bang , they give Southampton a place where Spinners had equal opportunity. What India did. Played injured Ash.

IMO, Kuldeep should have played atleast Edbaston and Aeges bowl and shouldnt have played at Lords

kohli might be clueless , i dont doubt his integrity ..

If He keeps making selection blunders starting with dropping Kumble and favouring Shashtri then what comes to my mind is, An intelligent enemy is better than foolish friend.

You will never get any rational decision making from these two morons. Kuldeep should have been playing all along.

No, I think problem is bigger. You cant make blunders like this in understanding the conditions/pitch while making selections of spinners or decoding how to get Curran out.

Also, I dont expect Shashtri (incapable) or playing 11 (lack of knowledge/experience) to judge the wicket, but what I definitely feel is other seniors players are not being consulted for advise or they are intentionally keeping themselves away from the two Mahanayaks.

PS: I heard Ganguli when asked if Lords pitch will offer something to spinners, saying "you never know". I was like wtf Dada is saying :congrats:
