England lacks the spin options India has, which was the major reason we were able to stymie their batting in this match. 

 

Further, Archer, who has been England’s most successful bowler this WC was playing only his second match. 

 

But most importantly, Pakistani players have so much pressure on them when they play India in a WC, they are almost certain to fail.

Wood and Archer are not McGrath and Lee. Archer is decent at best. The rest of the bowling attack is so poor that they couldn't even trouble Afghan batters yesterday. Even after that, England would have won if atleast one of Roy, Morgan, stokes or Moeen played better they did.

Still we wud have won.......Pak cannot beat India in Wc till they change their mindset. They come in Wc just to beat India , hence they put extra pressure on themselves. Best of the best cricketers will tell u to keep it simple which was one of the biggest strength of someone like sehwag . Pressure can either make u put extra effort or conscious effort and LOI cricket is about margin of error........thats where they loose it.

Bumrah lost it after the no-ball. He was very immature who couldn't take a little bit of luck not going his side.

Ashwin and Jadeja were from Dhoni school of spinners who just try to choke runs and depend on batsmen to make mistake.

A lot of different scenarios could've happened like Rohit runouts, weather affecting India.  For instance, Pak need a little over 100 or so after 20 overs with DLS.  If the weather intervened and Pak had played smartly, anything could've happened. Also, we aren't sure whether India would've bowled first or not.

 

Anyways, no need to cry about what ifs could've.. at the end of the day India kept the streak alive. Don't know about others, but am happy.
