Once Rohit returns, will be difficult to choose between Shikhar & Rahul in t20s - Virat Kohli

Recommended Posts

Basically saying once Dhawan is back, Rohit and him will be back to opening even in T20s.

His captaincy will most likely end on a humiliating note (should have been sacked as a LOI captain after 2019 WC itself, but won't survive another ICC tournament loss in Oct '20). What an utter disappointment he's proved to be as a captain - zero vision, zero support for youngsters but full of support for his friends and chamchas,

Yeah add pressure to a guy who thrives on confidence and is doing well for you by putting his place in team in doubt.:wall:

Also I still don't understand why Virat keeps harping on those bad 30 mins which lost India the semis. Why is it that you yourself are limiting your batting to top 3 batsman and didn't have a contingency plan in place. There were enough wickets in the shed to make a come back, teams have recovered from worse. These sort of excuses are what's holding the team back.

Both Rahul and Dhawan should play. They were both the top scorer in IPL and are really good. Benching even one would be stupid.

These are the bats for T20:

Rohit

Rahul/Dhawan

Dhawan/rahul

Kohli

Iyer/someone else

Pant

India can win it all withese six.

No he does not.

His way of batting does not work in t20s, there is reason why he struggles in T20s he is not power play nor does he have strokes allround the wicket. I would take Rahul over this guy in T20s.

Rahul needs to make himself undropabble by scoring big runs just like Bairstow did for England.

He will continue till WC23,not going anywhere as a leader

Biggest humiliation awaits us is WC23 at home,he will go down as weakest loi captain in our history ,a captain who had all the tools to rule the world ,but foolishly played his buddies and paid the price

he's learnt nothing from WC 2019 - really believes it was just 30 min of bad batting (his, Rohit and KL dismissal?) which did us in. Just the way he stiffened up when reporter touched on the topic shows his ego. The fact that his s***y selections and musical chairs with middle order was the major reason we lost is lost on him.

All this crap about selecting players based on how they are hitting the ball, fit into combinations etc is BS - TOP 3 are fixed, rest all are expendable.  And then he says transitioning to youth is going to be the focus in next 2 years..LOL.

Delusional man, blinded by ego.

Thats why indian team n RCB has same issue, Captain only makes them feel its top 3 or nothing

No team will have all players of similar caliber but best captains make everyone feel important n tell them their value acc to roles

How is he the second highest scorer in IPL then?

Rashid Latif very well explain why Rahul does better coz he has shots square of the wkt which many batsman play for dots and this is why he even scores in tons in IPL

If you have to use Rashid Latif to counter Kohli maybe you have already lost the arguement.

Caught behind is decent for analysis unlike other Pakistani youtubers.Rashid Latif esp is very good in technical aspects of the game

actually its very good show

The kind of technical anaylsis both have in regds to technique of batsman n bowler is terrific (if anyone avoids there licking for indian cricket its a very knowledgable show)
