It was heartening to see Pandya elevate his game in the final. What really impressed me was his desire to win the game for Ind on his own despite Ind being in a desperate situation. Who knows if not for the unfortunate run out, we may have seen another 175 not out 

 

The experience of single handedly taking on an entire team in a final but losing out unfortunately will only make Pandya a stronger cricketer. I am sure he will make this up by achieving many more wins for Ind

The sooner we get rid of Jadeja and Ashwin the better. Both are chutiyas. We should have gone with Umesh and Shami..both have rattled Pakistani in the past...but nah...so called winning combination does come to bite us in the ass...and holyshit...Rohit, Shikhar, Virat...all are *ing useless in a big semi-final/final match especially chasing...NEVER have they performed. Such overrated rockstars. Ugh.

 

Sarfaraz is a brilliant leader and he is now going to take this Pakistan team to new heights. Don't be shocked if we lose many more games against Pakistan in the future in ICC tournaments. This result has brought a big sense of belief in these guys. Oh...I so wish we had India vs Pak bilateral odis/t20s/tests....things will look uglier for us.

Would Shami and Umesh have saved Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli, Yuvraj and Dhoni from being dismissed cheaply?   Give credit where its due.  Pakistan bowled brilliantly and that's what won the game.  

 

I have been pushing for the selection of wrist spinners for quite a while for LOI cricket, especially Chahal, so I don't disagree with you on the specifics.  But no need to lose your $hit and bash the team.   They will lose once in a while.

Wrong. In ICC Champions Trophy with this result, Pakistan 3-2 against us.

 

Ganguly and Dhoni also lost to Pakistan in ICC Champions Trophy.

He should be given an extended run at #5/6 now.   That way he can properly develop his batting as a true middle order bat.   

 

Hardik at #5, Krunal/Axar at #6 is what I expect to see for Team India in WC 2019.
