SK_IH Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Question to Pak fans, does this Amir only gives his 100% against Ind and sleep walks against other teams? This is what I have observed generally, his pace is quicker vs Ind as compared to other teams.
beetle Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 He is a really really poor man's bhuvi in odi's. Cricketics, philcric and Mosher 3

Lala Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 The thing is, India reads him well and play carefully. That's why he is wicket less and though he is economical.

The thing is, he just played a game against india after CT final, which is hailed by you guys like wasim has arrived. Fact is he is a good bowler who on his day can run through a team but that day will come once in a year like our bhuvi.

No team has failed to defend 340+ in a big tournament final. Taking some wickets when the batsman are blindly swining is not match winning. Even zim or hong kong bowlers might have defended that score in fjnal if they had a huge target to defend. Pakistani batsmen won that match Edited September 20, 2018 by CSK Fan saik, DHONI_FANN, Laaloo and 2 others 1 4
speedheat Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Bowling too short not enough in good length and full length areas, he looked threatening yesterday whenever he pitched it up.
mishra Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 (edited) If you watch carefully, his deliveries used to come back in the air instead of following straightline trajectory. Once pitched, it used to seam. Now For that "movement in air" to happen, I believe his bowling speed, assistance from weather and release, probably were at critical point when he played against us in England. Sometime , that 1-2 miles of speed and some moisture makes massive difference. Forget Akram, his ball trajectory is nowhere close to Vaas. Edited September 20, 2018 by mishra
