flamy
Ishant is not that bad when compared to Umesh, Kaul, and all those. BTW, Saini in that first wicket does a Cottrell celebration, lol Laaloo 1 Link to comment
mishra
Long time back when I predicted, Ishant will be back, people laughed at me. In England, His short and wide deliveies aren’t that hittable because of swing and bounce Link to comment

There are lots of variables. Ishant wont proably play, TM knows what we do not. Clarke and mishra 2 Link to comment

Stan AF
IAfter seeing his performances against MI & CSK i am almost convinced. He certainly possesses that hunger. His ego has been bruised after getting dropped in white ball formats. He was quick. 140+ Mainly he's taking wickets like in Test matches. Ishanth will do well in england in this form. Link to comment
Gollum
Ishant should have been in the squad. Link to comment

vvvslaxman
He is our lucky charm :( He was with us when we won CT 2013. Probably would have enjoyed a slightly bouncier pitch. His inswingers could have been handy. Edited July 17, 2019 by vvvslaxman Link to comment
Pollack
Enough with "work whores" argument. Time to give some youngsters chance. Ishant has been around for ages and hasn't really set the world on fire ever in oDIs Link to comment
bowl_out
Time to get Saini, Nagarkoti, Mavi, Avesh in ODIs Mosher and express bowling 2 Link to comment

He made his debut when he was 19. 12 years is a long period. 30 year old and 320 days is still. 30 year old. Same way 19 year old 200 days is still 19 year old. He was closer to 20 when he made debut but still 19. He is now closer to 31 but still 30. Link to comment

I remember when he first came out he was seen as this tearaway bowler who was gonna change Indian cricket for good. Little did he know there were better bowlers yet to come. If you look at him now he is no where near the level of the current crop. It feels like he has been here forever. His impact feels very minimal. He should be leading the attack but the guy is clearly not good enough to do that in ODI’s. He is not exactly a smart guy. Never learnt the art of setting up a batsman like Zaheer khan, Bumrah, Shami. Link to comment
