A once in a 4 year WC has not evoked any interest in much of the school kids these days compared to an IPL. Most of em simply don't care anymore.

The guys who have been here for a while and could afford didn't go because of the NYC Parking and the expense. Most guys who went were college students or guys who recently moved here for nostalgia purposes. Indians are a minority of minority. Let us not get fooled by an odd visit to Oak tree road or Devon street or Fremont. Stan AF 1

Minority, yes. and its fine, but when you put a t20 game in Florida, you see stands packed even though viisitors know its going to rain. That is what I am talking about. Watch how people fill up the stadiums come August next month win Fort Lauderdale when we play 2 t20s against Windies. It's already announced that Kohli and Bumrah won't show up. Most likely Rohit too might not turn up, yet the stadium will be packed. Watch.

With England not reaching last 4 and India getting a shock against Afghanistan it will be reduced to 6 teams , 5 automatic qualifiers and 20 nations chasing one spot including 6 test nations , so no they won't qualify .
