Well the finals was a laugh riot In icf .

I remember everyone being very angry at dhoni's approach, asterix dada ,baloo, vvs ,KT were there in the thread ,even I ,then came the last over and boom the forum crashed in a minute lol .

Those were great times on icf ,first the IPL fixing saga, then CT victory then this agarbatti win and them the ashes

And at that time, I used to visit ICF as a guest once in a while. (Non registered user)

2011 WC final, then 0-8 happened and I lost interest in Indian cricket till circa 2014-15 Australia tour. After match-fixer Azhar it was Dhoni who made me fall out of love with the sport.

Same man. I was cursing MSD and couldnt forgive him as a fan for Trent bridge fiasco. Still blame Thala trying to be bigger and selling Team India for PR stuff.

Now you understand why I hate Kohli as well.

That Ian Bell call back took the edge/killer instinct from our test team, we regained it 4 years later in the come from behind series victory in Lanka. 2011 started so great, Cape Town test, WC win and everything went downhill after that aborted run chase in WI....2011 and 2012 were probably 2 of the most painful years for committed Indian cricket fans, thankfully I stopped following cricket then.

Asia cup final 2016. :hatsoff:

The way he absolutely decimated the Bangla souls at the sher e bangla that night in the space of 3 balls was just something else. Especially after the backdrop of all that "Taskin holding his severed head " crrraap.

I used to despise him at that time (even now as well)  due to his failure to chase something like 60 off 80 balls against Oz in Canberra when Kohli and Dhawan both scored hundreds and set up an easy win , but then thala played a terrible shot and we collapsed after that. I've never hated any player as much as him on that day until he played another disgusting knock at Lords 2018.

Biggest Sin in Indian Cricket after Azhar stuff. It makes the fan to retrospect how helpless fans are and why and how should they care?

And result was evident. Shook our test team form half a decade.

Same was with Kohli against Pakistan.

For me, these are top three worst days /incidents of Indian cricketing history

2006 Pakistan tour. That was the last good thing I remember about Dhongi. Ever since then it's all downhill and now it's reached the bottom of the gutter.

Agree.

All the high of winning the world cup was washed away after that England tour , where we failed to win a single game.

And then after the Australia tour , we got labelled (rightfully)  as serial home track bullies and all the credit for our World cup win was taken away.

And then getting knocked out by Bangladesh in the Asia cup just sealed the deal for me.  Just stopped watching Cricket altogether . Even the world T20 didn't get me back .

And when I finally decided to get back we lost to Pakistan at home.

And then champions trophy 2013 happened.

Till 2007 WT20 or maybe 2008 CB series . Till then he was one of my fav players. After that when he cemented himself as captain, noticed a pattern of his selfish notouts to bloat average.

I can tell you when I started hating him. It was when he started bowling in England. that was the time for him to go.

Last time I liked him was when he was "rested" from our T20 or ODI squads, because it meant that I didn't have to see his batting.
