I hope South Africa does a big favour to us and beat Aussies somehow. :two_thumbs_up:

we'll beat Lanka and finish top and face Naya Zealand. :aha:

There's no way semi final will be played with a 59 m boundary.

Yep the SF pitch will be another one, dimensions will be reasonable

The semi final pitch will be 2 strips over from the last 2 India have played at Edgbaston.

Good that Virat called out the ridiculous boundary rope games played by the foreign legion.

if we bat first , england will be in big trouble

If we bat first, bye bye Eng.Batting second has huge disadvantage. The pitch gets extremely slow here.Eng have been 'lucky' with the tosses..:whack2:

I still think we should risk Kuldeep. He could easily run through them if its his day.

On another note, the Eng vs NZ game tells us we were decent in our chase to get past 300 at least. Eng lost their way while batting first too to end with just 305.

We should back ourselves. Pace off the ball is the way to go on this ground.

England played their best game and India did not. I am not too worried. Johnny Jee has to fail next time.

Kuldeep has not been a wkt taking threat this WC, and even his run containment has been so-so. TM should play him only if the pitch is old and has something spinners can exploit. One of the chief reasons we lost against Eng (apart from slow start, Dhoni tuk-tuk) was the ineffectiveness of spin twins.

Is it within ICC rules to be flexible with the 11? Kohli can sub a spinner for a pacer based on whether we bowl first or second (not that he's that clever, times like these we need Sangakkara  )

i dont think our batsmen or bowlers prefer the pitch there plus the boundaries are ridiculous.

SF will be played on a fresh pitch, so, boundaries will become more balanced.
