vvvslaxman Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Both good. Ben stokes fairy tale. perera probably playing for a weak team went for it with nothing to lose. This was more calculated. Both are equally good.
Insidious Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Ben stokes . Because he done it against Pattinson, Hazelwood, pay Cummins - the no.1 bowler in the world and Lyon the no.1 spinner.

putrevus Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Perera innings is one of the best ATG innings as it was done away from home where SA rarely lose and Srilanka rarely win. Stokes was out. chewy and adi B 2
adi B Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Gotta give due credit to stokes as well ,probably one of the most clutch knock in the fourth innings but it was played at home with the aussie bowlers tiring and on the top of that he was out ,so perera edges
Prabhdeep Singh Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 It is pretty sad that India had lots of 4th innings chases last year in South Africa, England & Australia but were unsuccessful in all. India needs to get better at the crunch situations such as 250 + 4th inning chases. maniac and nevada 2
Suhaan Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Parera ,where nobody thought of them even drawing a game Cricwala 1
Vk1 Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Not to belittle Perera's knock but that proteas team is a pretty average one. They are soon going to down as the worst South African team ever. Ben Stokes innings is right up there with VVS innings.

SK_IH Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Wow completely missed Stokes' effort. What an ATG knock. Stokes is making a case for great all rounder now, WC final and now this. Also every passing day is a reminder of fact how big a joker and choker Kohli is. raki05 and adi B 2

There have been lesser players being hailed as ATG’s these days. Man of the match in a World Cup + this knock and also until that horror last over, he had a very good WT20 as well but even if you ignore that, he was man of the tournament in IPL which is the pinnacle of T20 format. If that doesn’t make him an ATG already then don’t know what will. Edited August 25, 2019 by maniac

He might be the best ever you never know after he ends up.
