Forever Indian
Previous generation greats would play 2 to 3 warmup matches in tours before they get to the crease in a test. What makes Mr Wrogn immune to playing without any warmups? beetle, Gollum, The Dark Horse and 1 other 4 Link to comment
zen
Played T20s, ODIs, .... Warm ups should ideally be more useful for those who haven’t played much in NZ and are expected to be a part of the 11 But he could have batted instead of someone like Saha, if he was going to be on the bench Link to comment
Popular Post Vilander
Kohli and Bumrah need to be brought back down to earth. Like drop them or show them they are not indispensable. Sachin or Kumble never needed this. But these guys need to be reminded. It's not as if we have 3 warmups like previous generation tours, it's just one. He is not a machine to switch from one format to another without practice. beetle and raki05 2 Link to comment

ShoonyaSifar
One answer - arrogance. All the humility he tries to portray in media interviews is FAKE, deep down the guy is the most arrogant and insecure player we have had in recent times. nevada, raki05, AuxiliA and 6 others 1 8 Link to comment

Even in today’s match presentation after the big defeat, his highness was sporting a blue jacket, not in whites. Kane Williamson was in the whites as it should be. raki05 1 Link to comment

Australia can keep Mitchell Starc on the bench, why can't India drop Bumrah? Captain Wrogn is a certified choker. All talk with nothing to back it up. This fool has been given carte blanche to ruin Indian cricket. sergio04, Suhaan, raki05 and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment

Lacks fighting intent now and probably needs to be replaced by some one who can be a honest fighter. this crap about lol being able to talk with kane about stuff after the game as if lol players from different countries are looking for genuine friendships, as if international cricket is just about player friendships. He also thinks too highly of himself, imagines himself to be a savior etc. stupid guy. Suhaan, The Dark Horse, express bowling and 7 others 1 9 Link to comment
Aiden
Hes too big a player to play in warm ups. Link to comment
Suhaan
Kohli is playing too much politics with everything ,bound to get into your head, peace of mind is not there, pressure of failure and an eventual loss of captaincy has crept into his inner self Bumrah ,yes, seems to be taking things for granted,he has to arrest his slide quickly sergio04 and Gollum 2 Link to comment

New guy
There was no need for him to play the last 2 T20s and last ODI. He could have rested then and played the warm ups. But hey, Pant had to be kept out at all costs. Arrogance will always come back to bite you no matter how big a player you are. If you think you are bigger than the game, the game has a way of showing you wrong. The reason he succeeded in England last time was that he had to prove others wrong and he prepared with such passion for the series. Now he took this series for granted and see what happened Gollum 1 Link to comment
Vilander
the more i make sense of virats comments and mindset prior to game it seems the team was over confident and were shocked at their own inability to wrest control and just clung on to any reasoning to get away from the game. Sandeep99
MC rat. He needs to be told how massively he sucks when it really matters. Such a useless baggage we’re carrying from 10 years. We will not win a single important match or tournament as long as this fool remains at the helm. He is not cursed. He is incompetent and inept. nevada and Suhaan 2 Link to comment

It became glaringly obvious Saha was going to be on the bench because once he got going in the second innings and was breezing towards a run-a-ball 50, they promptly agreed to call an early draw to avoid any selection headaches - I mean WTF!?!??
