KKR is the only team that has given chances to 3 young uncapped Indian fast bowlers throughout the tournament.   ( Prasidh, Mavi and Nagarkoti  )

And stuck with Gill at the top.

Developing Team India's next in line

Respect to the Team Management for that. :hatsoff:

Took too long to make necessary changes throughout the campaign. Still a decentish season.

If this team is serious about winning something , they need to pick players who can get the job done rather than grooming youngsters who don't even look like t20 players ..

What did they get by spending for hospital charges of Nagarkoti and Mavi for 2 years??

Not necessarily.

KKR has won 2 titles.

This time what we lacked was a quality batsman in place of Rahul Tripathy. Even someone like an Ishan Kishan would have helped a lot.

Plus Russell's injury did not help.

Another issue is poor backups for frontline players.

They all sucked balls which is the reason why KKR are out of the tournament

Mavi did quite well. Prasidh started off well too.

Plus a team cannot plan for a sudden shift to the sluggish pitches of the Middle East. Inexperienced quick bowlers find it most difficult on sluggish pitches.

In hindsight, letting Chris Lynn go was massive. They just couldnt get a solid top 3 going. Narine is also finished as an opener. Still they have a solid Indian core, need a proper overseas batsman along side Morgan to really mount a challenge next time.

TBH, UAE pitches are much more helpful for pacers than Indian pitches. Also small grounds in India.

When 2 overseas superstars ( Dreress & Naraine ) were flop and  another superstar ( Cummins) went missing in the first half , very difficult to produce good results .

Even India stars Kuldeep , Gill were not upto the mark.

In terms of backing player KKR management is said to be the best. Some of the stories are amazing.

I doubt any other franchise wud have stuck with nagarkotti coz he was injured for 2 yrs, many wud have released him.

This season didnt go their way but if they are able to retain their indian core in auction this will be a top side for next decade.

Thats the way, investment which is what even MI n DC has done now, RCB will go same way now.

They failed becoz of some bizzare strategies and some of their young players getting exposed on short stuff which wnt happen much on indian pitches . Their stars failed thats why they failed.

Its either mavi n nagarkotti or unadkat , dhawal or aaron , best t20 bowlers in india are sold .

Also DK n morgan batting order throught was wrong.

Kuldeep shud have been a senior by now but he is looking mentally short right now. Chahal on other hand has carried RCB bowling on his shoulder for long

Absolutely! Much respect to their management for standing by the young pacers for years despite injury!
