Mariyam Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 No. Probably would have picked an over the hill Aussie over Sky/ QDK in the squad. express bowling, saik, asterix and 2 others 4 1

Majestic Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Thala has won 7 IPL tournaments already, 4 for MI and 3 for CSK. But unfortunately, Thala doesn't win anything for RCB when they are in finals or qualifiers (2011,2015).

Thala did end up hitting a lot of useless runs after the game was out of reach 2015 - don’t think we can blame thala for this loss unless we think really deep and hard 2017 - beautiful unselfish knock of 10(13) and Pune ended up losing by 1 run 2019 - haters were calling him selfish for not retiring. Well he played an even more unselfish knock in the final. 2(8) and csk lost by 1 run thala will be the first player to go in the hall of fame for . Maybe 2nd after Ravi. thala forever in our hearts Nikola, speedheat, bowl_out and 3 others 5 1

Rasgulla Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 MI wins because of Ambani and underground payments to star players to stay within the team. With MI kohli would have defo won something. speedheat, Nikola, Real McCoy and 3 others 1 1 4
zen Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 In MI, the captain is not a key force relatively speaking apart from on field decisions. Most of the planning is already done before the tournament. What you see on the field is those planes being implemented.

WC2011INDIA Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 As a player, yes. As a captain, no. He will always be a serial loser as a captain in big tournaments. Will need some luck to achieve a trophy or something like MSDs young days.
Texan Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 No. The problem with captains like Kohli and Dhoni is that they are just too thick skinned. They will never admit to or accept any mistakes, which means that they will never change losing combinations or tactics. Having Rohit as captain has enabled MI to make the best use of MI's resources.
TheWall Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Yes. It's doesn't matter whether it's kohli or Rohit as long as the owner is money god bambani....
