I call bs on this. You are a captain of all 3 sides and the most powerful man in Indian cricket and you have no clue about one of your biggest cricketers?

Either Kohli is totally b.s.ing or it shows how oblivious he is which is not good either

Rohit's fitness will be an issue going forward.  There was this T20 game in NZ Where he pulled his hamstring outta nowhere.  Age seems to be catching up as well.  One think I like about Dhawan is Dude is 34 but he has kept himself fit.

Rohit may not last a day in Test match while fielding.  He should only play LOIs.

So  The guy plays IPL final fine but somehow can't sit in the plane! Does he have piles.

This is a great analysis. Wondering what is the nature of rohits fitness issue. Great post.

This is expected as IPL was organised, as soon as a window popped up, as a knee jerk reaction to financial losses, franchises or BCCI may encounter. Nobody had any clue whether the Australia series would go ahead or if a plan was in place, if it does. The whole talk about country before money or vice-versa is very unhelpful as money is pretty important in a COVID year. The Indian tour to Australia is also going ahead at this point of time purely because of monetary reasons but somehow players are judged at a higher ethical code, which is double standards at best.

oh sure Rohit must have really needed the cash, BCCI in non profit endeavor for the players..

By extension, franchises are non profit endeavour for BCCI...

Rohit is fat unlike Kohli and he will have fitness issues in future too.I don't think he will last in test cricket with his fitness. He is getting older too. They have to look for his replacement and if Kohli contonuous to flop look for his replacement too.

The guilty conscience of Kohli.

His days as a captain are numbered. The guy can't win a thing now days but wants to be a dictator dropping players at his whim. Not going to work with Dada.

^^ why are his days numbered as a captain. There is nothing wrong for a captain to expect one of his best batsman to be playing in this high profile series.People need to stop mixing IPL with international cricket.

Dada would die to have Kohli's record as a captain. What the heck did he win.

I mean fine whether it's rohit's or kohli's mistake anyways they are not long term players . Anyway you need rothit replacement so stop whinning and prepare for the future. Give as much as chance ot the youngsters . Wasn't everyone crying why these seniors play all the biletrals so what the fuss if Rohit keep out or kept out of the loi.
