According to reports, Virat wanted K L Rahul as vice-captain in ODIs, and Rishabh Pant to perform the same role in T20Is.

This fraud :bumsmack:

There are no marks for guessing that even in the dressing room, Kohli's deputy Rohit Sharma is considered as a "leader", who has effectively learnt to take a young troop along, having done that year after year for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

It is one of the worst kept secrets in Indian cricket that 'King Kohli', for some time, has not exactly enjoyed the full support of the dressing room.

His style of functioning, according to those who have watched him closely, borders on autocracy with very little room for inclusiveness.

"Beyond the ground, Kohli is literally incommunicado," a former India player, who has seen Kohli's early days of captaincy, told PTI during an informal chat.

"Rohit has shades of MSD but in a different manner. He takes the junior players out for meals, gives them a friendly pat on the back when they are down and knows the mental aspects of a player's make-up inside out," the ex-cricketer said.

When it comes to handling junior players, the biggest complaint against Virat is leaving them in the lurch when the chips are down.

Not just that, he snatches the chips away from young players. He never cared about them, actually screwed up their confidence, and now wants a young player to be VC. Rohit is in the form of his life and can lead for 12-15 months easily. On paper, Kohli is 33 but looks and bats like a washed up 39 year old. He has no right to talk about another player's age.

Rohit is big threat for him as far as 2023 world cup is considered. Leaving t20 captaincy after worldcup is actually good for kohli. If he loses worldcup he is anyway leaving t20 captaincy. If he wins he gains sympathy and becomes powerful as captain in other 2 formats. He would have been removed in both odi & t20 format as captain post t20 worldcup (if we would have lost it)

He prefers non-performing seniors like Rahane.

"I no bad, that other baby poopy his diaper too" - is an excuse that most folks stop using after kindergarten.

If you see something that's kachra, please report it so we can keep this shared space as clean as possible.

He will be doing jackshit. If we win, it will be down to Rohit.

The best decision would be to drop kohli instead of dropping the cup. There is more chance of us winning without him as he is bringing his toxicity in dressing room.

Don't Mind Rohit Sharma being removed from vice captaincy, Selectors must grant Kohli his wish, they should make KL Rahul ODI VC, and Rishab Panth T20 WC, and make Rohit Sharma the Captain in both formats. If everything was In Virats hands, we would soon see Anushka Sharma leading the Indian Women's Cricket team. Bloody Dufus!!

Also this

Selectors wanted Shaw it seems.

Gollum is not active these days.

But an answer to all the genius ICFers questioning how Dhawan got back into ODIs and why Shaw is nowhere to be seen.
