He did not say anything wrong.  But being a intl cricketer, if someone starts reacting to a few random fan's random comments, it does look cheap on his part.    LOL.    Much cheaper than the bilateral series win.

I agree with McCleneghan and with you guys.

 

Bilateral LOI series are usually meaningless.

 

This win means nothing to me.

 

Only things that matter are matches and trophies won in ICC tournaments and Test series wins. 

 

Which is why the 12 - 1 record by India vs Pakistan in ICC tournaments feels so sweet and is the only thing that matters in LOIs.   :  )

Kinda happy to see we handled boult well.

They were *ing lucky to feature in this WTC final itself! If it weren't for sexting Paine & his atrocious over rate at MCG the two best test teams would've feature in the finals - NZ is not the best, just the one who did better in familiar conditions after playing a two test series vs Eng! NZ are a joke of a side, worse chokers than SA (but slightly behind Kohli led India)

S.africa used to so this from 2007-2014. Not one ICC title was won. However they were test number 1 for a few years. 

Kohli has followed the exact same 'template' as kohli would say. 

Dominated tests for 5 years in a row. 

Won every bilateral series. Lost every icc title post 2013.

Is there incentive in winning bilaterals? Do players get paid more? Why does kohli take it so seriously? Must be sponsor or advertisement related. Wouldn't he get even more bonuses though should he win an icc event especially against arch rivals?

It's not even about bilaterals being useless and tourneys being everything.

 

The problem is we literally look invicincible in bilaterals only to sink without a trace in tourneys.

 

But I have a lot of hopes from the Ro-vid regime.

 

Hopefully they come good.

 

Results wise so far so good.

 

Selection wise, not so much.
