I agreed to what you said. But presumably bcci thought that it shouldn't reflect as sacking by considering Kohli stature as captain and player. As it would be embarassing for Kohli. But after this explosive interview Kohli made it more difficult for him and now it looks more of a sacking even from T20 captaincy as you said .

Yes thats true....

I feel we need to move away from this style of communication cos no one really believes it.

Everyone knows Rahane was dropped instead of niggled last game.

Same goes for Ashwin & Jaddu being dropped after 2017 CT series, But it was posed as if they were rested.

And now we have Kohli asked not to quit T20 captaincy and since he did, they removed him as ODI captain as split captaincy doesn't work.

The latest was Ganguly mentioning that Kohli wanted Ashwin in the LOI team but he wasn't sure. This takes the cake,

I think fans have matured and they know what's going on.

Better to go for a nicely worded thank you note IF the said player doesn't quit (in case of Kohli).

lol. this kohli did all his dirty tricks during kumble time, that 9 out of 11 players don't like kumble and every other day leaking statement against kumble. Just to bring in bewda as a coach. Now he is crying foul...such a shameless man this kohli is. No sympathy for this idiot and it will be great for indian cricket if Ganguly will throw him out of test captaincy as well and made him carry the drink by keeping on bench always.

So this is what I was referring to. This is the King Loli fan club

Sanjay Jha was the only supporter Ganguly on the planet when Ganguly was going through a terrible form lol He is against Ganguly now?

Think he is taking a dig against Jay Shah.

It feels like 2006 on this forum with Jhakass and his takes being discussed.

Who's that Algappan Mootrakumar?

He is also one of those Twitter krantikaris, King Loli has won the hearts of these guys with his noble prize winning gestures

The greatest loss to Indian sports are its fans.

Blind, illogical and emotional individual worshippers. The stupidity is repeated for every so called "star" in his final days.

Kohli is talented but an arrogant fool and should be handled in such a way.  Shambolic and barely professional BCCI failed to to do this. Should never allow any one to become larger than sport.

Anurag Thakur was right 100%.

Kohli's fanbase is by far the most irritating and unlikable fan base in cricket history. Not surprising, Kohli himself is an insecure arrogant spoilt brat.

He is playing victim after destroying the confidence and career of many victims himself. No matter who said or didn't say what, Kohli doesn't deserve captaincy nor a place in the side as a batsman on form. He better accept that and move on instead of acting like he was forcibly removed despite doing well.

i'm not interested in the drama but for a supposed professional board that was supposed to generally have it's house in order the past few months have been just amateurish on the PR and optics front. you can't blame people and their imaginations running wild when you have so many conflicting reports and news leaks.

BCCI is run from dada's living room. Or from Jay shah's mansion. Not from it's central office, if it has any.

Look at the ipl mess up. CVC still does not know if it will get it's franchise.
