Which t20s?   In WT20, He did not play against Poyz and NZ.    Only played against minnows ,if I recall.

If Jaddu was there, he wouldn't have played. Jaddu, sundar and Chahal should've played these matches with two fast bowlers (bumrah, siraj).. Ashwin shouldnt be there for LOIs.

He should not have been brought back to ODIs. Not worried about him though, he is a stop gap arrangement till Sundar or Jadeja comes back to the side. Will be chucked out after this series. Sundar was unlucky to get covid just before the series.

 

I would prefer Sundar over Jadeja. Can be groomed properly

Why are people craving for Sundar , what exactly will he do in odis? He is worse bowler than Ashwin and cannot use long handle to score fast runs at death.

Wristies are the best options for wicket taking. They will go for runs. But they will take wickets. Sundar will be sharing 5th bowler overs. He can bowl inside power play which is a bonus.

You don't need bits and pieces player like Sundar in the team. What exactly will he bring to the table. To win consistently  you need talented fast bowlers who will take wickets with new ball and then spinners who will bowl to take wickets.

 

They need to bring new young fast bowlers who bowl fast, it does not matter if they leak runs , Why are guys like Avesh being overlooked for leeches like Bhuvi.

Sundar is not a bits and pieces player. He is primarily a bowler who can bat despite his batting credentials. He was the second highest wicket taker in the VH 2021.  Chahal/Chahar/Bishnoi are our only options. Don't hope they will run through sides. Atleast chahal has done it a couple of times. Others are yet to prove.  On flat wickets none of our bowlers can shine including Bumrah. IN such scenario you have to outbat the opposition. With 6 batsmen you can't do zilch.  You need balance, depth in batting and bowling. This 5+1+5 will need us to produce near perfect game every single match.

Wrong. Sundar is primarily a batsman who can bowl not vice-versa.
