SRT100 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) Virat Kohli has reported an alleged breach of privacy in his hotel room in Perth, where India played their men's T20 World Cup Super 12s match against South Africa on Sunday. Kohli posted a video on his Instagram page, which was originally posted on TikTok by an unidentified user with a caption that said "King Kohli's hotel room". It scanned through the room where Kohli was stay https://www.instagram.com/reel/CkXVWI6g7Ff/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=83d36e5a-164a-42e1-a648-30fe8413dc27 While I dont mind admitting I am intrigued and somewhat shocked at just how much he takes with him while he travels, this is a massive invasion of privacy. You can catch a glimpse in the reflection that he is possibly of Indian decent and likely a cleaning staff. One thing is for sure, the guy that took the video would want to be careful. The Police can and could come down very hard on him, dont rule out deportation via the Government. Invasion of Privacy in Australia is a serious matter. Edited October 31, 2022 by SRT100 raki05 1
I6MTW Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 The hotel has apologized now and the person is now fired.
vvvslaxman Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 By the way why did he share the video? Just to identify the perpetrator?

Sgattick10 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Good the man got fired. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour. SRT100 1
vvvslaxman Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Worst thing that can happen is fixing of camera.
Bigg Brother Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Okay some guy took video on posted it on IG but Kohli should have sorted out it with Hotel Administration and why TM manager there for. No need to right such lengthy post on IG,such incidents are rare, I feel bad if that guy got fired because of this. Didn't few years back Kohli and his beloved wife share some person throwing garbage without blurring face and giving Gyan about safai. Didn't that guy has privacy?

I am more than happy to lay the boots into Kohli when he is in the wrong, however here he isnt. 100% right to get the guy fired. Not only invasion of privacy by taking a video, but then sharing it online. Kohli still could take it further and seek damages if he wanted to, but I think he has done enough to satisfy him with the outcome. Sgattick10 1

Privacy in your hotel room is same as privacy while dumping trash in public? Lord 1
