Test matches getting over in 2.5 - 3 days. Nightmare pitches & pitch doctoring made this series extremely unwatchable.

 

Every team takes home advantage but I think India takes it to another level.

 

Ofcourse ICC will not say anything bcoz it involves India but any other country would have got multiple demerit points due to this horrible pitches.

 

We need not stoop to this level as we are terrific test side who beat Aust in Aust, drew in Eng etc.

 

Why we need to create such pitches at home and make a mockery of test cricket?

Who enjoys such cheating (by playing on such doctored pitches to not give the opponent a chance in its book) in tests?

I am enjoying our mediocre batter getting expose kela is gone and I hope other 2 budhau are also thrown out. In a series one such pitch is a non issue, other 2 pitches were perfectly fine. I have seen worst pitches than this while we travelled to NZ and sa, even in wi.

Not at all. 

A contest between bat and ball is what makes cricket watchable. When one kind of bowlers are heavily dominating the game then viewing experience is as poor as flat pattas where batters can keep batting for 3 days. 

Once in a while such tracks are okay but series after series, match after match if we keep playing on tracks like these our cricket will suffer. We can afford to miss a few WTC finals but the dent such tracks will put in our cricket will be very harmful for long term. 

But then this team wants shortcuts at everything, so they are happy playing 2 day test matches.

I have primarily watched the overs when Shami, Siraj snd Umesh have bowled or Gill batted. 

 

Basically, haven't watched 80% of the overs.

Haven't watched much due to office commitments, but try to watch highlights after the EOD.
Personally I enjoy pitches which has pace and bounce, that's another reason why I skip most of home test series. 
Wish, we see atleast one test in grounds like Dharamshala, where we can show superior skillset of our pacers.

Makes one wonder about the change of venue from Dharamsala does it not? Spin lobby is ultra strong in India - I have seen it even at the roots of the game.

This series has been a borefest and takes the sheen away of the legacy of BG Trophy. Bad pitches, bad batting, aging Indian MO has made this series unwatchable. I

Chennai 2021 has scarred Indian team for good...  That was phainta of epic proportions. 

They prepared turners even when SL toured & Iyer bailed us out.. 

 

Aging team needs youth badly.  Otherwise we will have to prepare these doctored tracks to win. 

Our current batting unit lacks the talent to outbat top sides.

Ghanta lobby.... 80% of Indian batsmen now cant play spin to play their life... against average spinners

Yes bro same here. I like watching spinning pitches where the visitors **** their pants against spin but these pitches are a bit too much. Watching spinners open the bowling is not entertaining to me and fast bowlers have been reduced to being spectators. Our fast bowlers have been playing a vital role in us winning a lot of matches at home in recent years. Want to see them bowl more. Miss watching Pant bat too.
