nevada
Orange cap is overrated as it allows selfish players to accumulate runs slowly at their team's expense. zen, Vijy, raki05 and 4 others 7 Link to comment

Serpico
What about setting the target though? That's where most of our frustration come from. You can't just assume 170 is the par score in every match Link to comment
AKane
The Peerless KL is at it again. Form is temporary, class is permanent but the Peerless KL is above it all. express bowling, raki05, nitinbwj and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment
Majestic
Your first over maiden remains constant irrespective of whether you are chasing 150 or 200. nevada, raki05 and Vijy 3 Link to comment
bowl_out
Poor logic. Even if you are chasing a S/R of 140, by your logic, you are confident of scoring 17 runs every two overs? There are going to be challenging overs in-between with field spread out, older ball, some batsmen struggling to keep momentum.. And worse, if you score exactly at the RRR, then you drag the match till the last ball. As an opening batsman, you always need to be ahead of the RRR And things get worse while setting a target when you just go with a pre-defined randomly chosen target of 140 S/R Vijy and nevada 2 Link to comment
wanted_desi
Money is overrated. It depends on the demand, if you have to eat food to survive and live properly. Link to comment

tapandrun
This is v.much the mind set all Ind batters Intnl or domestic, that's why Ind has to draft in Tripahti, Jitesh, Sky in t20 who are in 30s and just have 1 format where they know they can be selected in Ind team. There is no young player (apart from Shaw but he too has weakness on legside and against spin outside Powerplay)who are playing modern day cricket when everyone is cursing IPLs and T20s for lack of application and urge to hit boundaries but you donot see boundaries in t20s from them. This defensive and selfish mind set have caused Ind batting alot in last so many years that Ind has not been able to win a single T20I wc after that 2007 inaugural. In Ipls too the big hitting and risk taking is left to the foreign players where Ind superstars tries to play more conservative and accumulative role trying to bump-up their averages and only play big shots once they have reached a certain personal score. zen
KL’s strike rate is LSG’s problem at the moment as Team Ind is giving a run to Gill and company in T20Is. The best way for KL to make a comeback to T20Is, ironically for him, could be by playing at a high strike rate (in relation to the pitch). Edited March 8 by zen Link to comment
tapandrun
Imagine if this is your captain and he says SR is overrated in team meetings, would someone as a player take it seriously and try to play to bump their avgs or say it must be a joke. Or this statement only implies to him and he asks other batters to play at higher SR and take risks to score quickly. Link to comment
