At least with Dhoni in charge, he made all the calls.

Dhoni, being the keeper, had the best vantage point to make the DRS call. Rohit does not.

 

But yeah Dhoni had the best body language and attitude of any Indian captain (or even in the world) that I have seen.

 

Rohit is like a secular version of Inzamam ul Haq lol.
