What sort of namoona is this Dravidiot? 2 months before the WC begins and apparently SKY is learning about this format, you can't be serious!!!! What sort of planning is this? Had he said this in 2020 or '21 fine, but what's the need of pointless experimentation so close to a WC. 99% chance SKY won't start in any of the games and he is too old, is the TM preparing him for 2027 WC?

Dravid ka dimag fir gaya hai.  WC ko 60 days baaki hai.  Experimentation Experimantation karte raho.  BC, WC ko mazak bana rakha hai.      SKY is NOT Yusuf Pathan FFS.   SKY averages 22 after playing 26 games and his SR is also 100 and not 120 or something.    Y Pathan was a different beast altogether. And he could bowl part time spin as well.  (SKY brings nothing new to the table).    Yes, we are missing a big hitter in the lower order.  SKY is not the answer.

BCCI is the most corrupt governing body and people appointed by them are also corrupt and stupid. They give any BS statements to defend their stupidity and feast on the ignorance of those who watch Indian cricket team.

This "We are learning from defeats", "He is still learning X,Y,Z format" is pure BS and literally without any substance. Why can't you learn from winning and scoring runs? Is it compulsory to lose and lay eggs while scoring runs. This "Learning from failure" is pure overrated BS circulated by those who perpetually fail and this is what Indian team is. Perennial Failure when it comes to actually winning something.

It is going to be again Raydu-Shankar like fiasco again, they will eventually drop Sky in WC and play someone who never got to play before wc just because of this fanboyism of SKY. Sky in ODIs is like one legged man in ass-kicking contest. A player who plays every shot pre-meditatively is never going to succeed in ODIs. He is even worse than Rohit Sharma of 2012 SL series.

A sixth sense says the Indian team has been hijacked by the BCCI. Players have lost interest as they have been used as money making tools.

Hope all this is wrong though.

Ind team finds it hard to get any impetus in the batting, they have been hoping if somehow Sky can fit in give 20 extra runs to their potential targets.

But this is not happening and they do not have much options left for Ind. They have been ending up scoring sub par or just par scores and with bowling Ind has its difficult for them to contain opposition batting.

Rohit Sharma has failed to score big as he tries to be aggressive in PP (it looks odd), Kolhi will play in the same manner. These days most teams have proper batter till no. 7 and good batting alrounders afterwards Ind's batting finishes at 5/6

Still No.4 conundrum continues.. Coach, Team management not in a hurry rather it seems to find the perfect player to replace Iyer (if he's not available). Trying SKY in ODI is foolish, he's no Maxwell.. atleast Maxwell scores in 2 out of 5 matches at a rapid strike rate.

This. A hundred percent. Much to the chagrin of posters here, I keep saying its time BCCI learn from PCB of all boards - They are fast-tracking talent, reformed their domestic, supported and promoted their best domestic coaches, invested heavily in a data-driven approach, and the next generation of kids they have are not even age fudgers. Heck their social media presence is two orders of magnitude superior to that of the bureacratic tyranny that is BCCI.

And Maxwell is an effective bowling option, not to forget his fielding. SKY doesn't bowl and is a below average fielder.

Haan, Chappell toh bematlab hi badnaam hai. Moron Dravid was the one who dragged us to the gutter in that era, same he is repeating as coach.

Not fair, remember the record number consecutive successful ODI chases (17) , a series win in WI  after 35 years and in Eng after 21 years and the first drawn test  series in SA! We had a first round exit in the WC is all we remember of his captaincy!

India's 2023 ODI World Cup 16:-

Rohit Sharma

Shubhman Gill

Ishan Kishan

Virat Kohli

Shreyas Iyer( subject to fitness)

Sanju Samson

KL Rahul( subject to fitness)

Hardik Pandya

Ravindra Jadeja

Axar Patel

Kuldeep Yadav

Yuzvendra Chahal

Jasprit Bumrah

Mohammad Shami

Mohammad Siraj

Shardul Thakur( ideally he shouldn't be there)

That's 16. One of Iyer or Samson will be in reserves, so that will be 15.
