India will face Bangladesh on October 19 at the MCA Stadium in Pune. The boys have got a well-deserved rest of five days as they last played a match on October 14 against Pakistan in Ahmedabad.

Ahead of the crucial Bangladesh game, Zee news reported that Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has been issued three traffic challans after he drove his Lamborghini at 200 kmph on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

The sources from the traffic department reported that Rohit was travelling from his home in Mumbai to Pune to join his teammates, which is when he drove recklessly and exceeded speeds of 200 km/h and even reaching 215 km/h at times, which resulted in three online challans.

Notably, after the game against Pakistan, Rohit travelled to Mumbai via a Pawan Hans helicopter and spent two days with his family, before joining the Indian side in Pune.

Speaking about Rohit’s reckless driving, a source from the traffic department reported, “Indian captain driving at a high speed in the middle of a World Cup is not advisable. He should be travelling in a team bus with a police car with him.”

Naya naya paisa hazam nahi hota.

This idiotic behavior is mostly seen in 3rd world countries, where you can get away with anything.

His license would be revoked for a very long time in America or  - he would probably be fined massively as well. But in India, nothing will happen.

Also it is irresponsible towards other commuters.

The Mumbai Pune express has some segments of the road- that are not great - total recipe for a disaster.

On serious note, what is so urgent? Ambani can even arrange chartered flight for him if he wishes.

The time differential via a flight or road isn't much for Mumbai Pune. And at that speeds , road will be faster

Flight will be safer with not much difference in speed.

200 kph is about 115 mph - while not super crazy, on Indian roads its definitely hazardous.  Dude is middle aged now with a kid.  I've done stupid stuff like this in my teens and 20s.  But what the*** Brohit.  Grow up.

The fact he learnt nothing from the Pant episode shows that he is still mentally immature wanting to flash his expensive cars to show off to who no idea! And what was the rush? He has that much money to hire a chopper and take him to Pune..

These speeds are worthy of a license suspension, massive fine and also a potential prison sentence in the UK due to the risk of reckless driving- but as he is captaan sahib superstar protected by Ambani nothing will happen to him
