Texan Posted May 13, 2024 Posted May 13, 2024 (edited) .... And the winner is: Hardik Pandya Original OP Follows: === It's that time of the year!!! With the playoffs close to completion, it is time to pick the most worthless player of IPL 2024. This will be our 13th consecutive year for this thread theme. Here are winners from prior years: 2023: Deepak Hooda 2022: Rohit Sharma 2021: Nicholas Pooran 2020: MS Dhoni 2019: Yusuf Pathan 2018: Glen Maxwell 2017: Shane Watson 2016: David Miller 2015: Yuvraj Singh 2014: Chris Gayle 2013: Kumara Sangakkara 2012: Yusuf Pathan *REMEMBER* The most worthless player is a player who is earning big bucks, but performing miserably poorly. The more the bucks and the poorer the performance, the more worthless they are. P.S. If you think that I missed someone, let me know and I will evaluate and determine if we need to add them to the poll. Edited May 18, 2024 by Texan Mariyam, New guy, coffee_rules and 1 other 3 1
The Realist Posted May 13, 2024 Posted May 13, 2024 In terms of minutes per $ has to be sicknote Chahar. A Chahar/Pandya hybrid would literally be a hospital bed that is wheeled out on to the pitch. Where is the legend Saurabh Tiwary? Majestic, Scarface, Adamant and 3 others 6
vvvslaxman Posted May 13, 2024 Posted May 13, 2024 Btw @Texan Thanks for sharing all the old threads here. Interesting to read those old threads. Texan 1

AuxiliA Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Rohit hands down. Can't believe people are voting for Pandya over him.

I think that the manner in which he has led MI to one disaster after the other is also contributing towards this trend. Also, Rohit already won it once; Pandya deserves his chance AuxiliA 1

I will give his batting some leeway over Rohit. Anyways on second thought I would say Starc did worse than both of them, especially considering his 25cr! paycheck.
