Not trying to be Debbie Downer but he also had the best bowling at his disposal. Ganguly was the best so far.

I think everyone sane agrees that most wins and best captain are two different things. However, more than the Indian team of now being better than previous sides, it is the fact that many other sides are much worse than they were in Ganguly's era - Aus had an ATG side, Pak had Inzi, Younis, Yousuf, Asif, SL had Sanga, Jaya, Murali, RSA were much better as well; I am not sure where to place NZ and England, but they were more or less the same.

Of course it is not the current team's fault that there are no McGraths, Warnes and Kallis' around. All that matters is that they are the best team in the world currently. Wins are wins.

Man-for-man, as I said recently, the India team of the 00s is better than this one - batting was miles better, bowling worse but the gulf in batting is bigger Kohli notwithstanding.

Kohli unlike any Indian captain has raised his level as a batsman too.Did he make mistakes with team selections, yes he did, not selecting Jadeja in Perth was one of them. But unlike other Indian captains he is willing to take chances to win which is most important thing for any captain.

I want him to attack more but his batting is so weak , he is afraid to attack more.

Great skipper

Provides aggression and energy.  Makes team play in same way.

Best player in world, leads from front.  First man to enter the battle and this earns repect of team mates who fall in behind the ultimate warrior to fight, priceless this

Groomed sensational fast bowling attack.  Fast, quick, positive, aggressive.  Backed up by aggressive fieding unit, who aggressive to oppo which fires bolwers to give that bit more

Fittest indian team ever.  Mass use of sports science.  They faster, stronger then ever before.  Superb mangt of fast bowlers keeping them fit and treating them like diamnonds, they looked after to get best

Picking new players, not scared to change team to get wins.  Lots of new players in team and flourisihing.  Pant and Bumrah best examples

Turned Ishant carrer around.  Greatest feat in history of mankind turning this lanky piece of **** in to world class operator.

Team is happy camp.  ICF dont like that but lads are happy and comfortable on long tours.  Treated like grown ups and they respond to this.

Great job doing.  Keep it up

If only he could be a similar leader in shorter formats and kick Dhoni out of the ODI and T20 teams forever. Sooner he realises this, better it will be for him else Rohit is waiting to takeover the LOI leadership after 2019 WC.

Nah will be skipper in odis for min next 2 wcs

Yes totally agree on Dhoni thing.  But clearly Kohli power limited, Powers to be forcing dhoni in, so much polotics in white ball stuff led by dhoni/srinvisan axis of evil
