Hang your heads in shame

Yes, people write here as if they know more cricket than captain and the player when they say that player should retire.

Even I have said to try to rotate players than Yuvi or Dhoni in various formats as we need to develop the team for the future but there is a proper transition to bringing youngsters in the team and slowly and steadily all the younsters will get their chance but not on the expense of players who are scoring runs, like the way Yuvi and  Dhoni have in the recent Eng ODi series.

Our public gets too excited by seeing young guns that after one defeat, they want to retire a senior player fast. You can rotate but can't just retire a legend like that.

Great knock by Yuvi.

Who are you talking about ?

Yuvi.

He played really well .He is getting the love.

He has sucked for sometime ....and gets criticized for that.

I hope he really does well since these are the last few times we will see him and he deserves to be remembered like that.

Don't understand the chest beating.

There's been too much crap on writing him off.  Pronouncing him as done.   The resident tailunt worshipper even attempted to justify Mr.264's horrible tuk tuk claiming it saved us from Yuvi batting for longer periods.   In fact its Yuvraj's innings that dragged us from ending with a poor total.  Even VK was struggling to get going, and Yuvi kept things moving.

There's too much hype spinning and youngsta beauty love on here.  Goosy is right in calling it out.  As usual.

Yuvraj himself acknowledged Rohit and Dhawan partnership which allowed India to throw kitchen sink.

You started whining about yuvi when he was batting on 2 from 3 balls, even when yuvi was on 20 off 16 people were acting like he was committing a murder

He was not merely criticised but ridiculed, persecuted, and hounded.

Yes he played what hopefully will be a match winning innings but what is the need to hang heads  . He gets criticized when he plays bad just like others .Now a days his good days are lesser than the bad days .

Why not just enjoy the lovely innings instead and praise him for it .

Why this chest beating and hang your heads stuff?

Hope is really  continues this form  and regains the glory.:hatsoff:

Its just the way it is in forums. People will criticize and some will ridicule. Just accept that there will be different opinions or ignore them. Nobody needs to hang their head for having an opinion.

Having played 3 ODIs since 2013 (in which year he averaged 19 over 15 innings), I'm not sure why people should hang their head in shame for stating the obvious.

He played a great innings today when India was struggling, but that doesn't mean that people against his selection were wrong.

Did you watch odis v England ? Batted well

this nonsense thread, Yuvraj has been rubbish over last two years, got a break (dropped catch) and cashed in

not forgetting Dhoni, Jadhav were still there, and Kohli and Pandya remained not out.

Yuvraj got fortunate few times in his innings

nevertheless good knock from Yuvi

We should be glad Dhoni didn't get a chance to bat. His 32(35)* would have been useless

whats sad is even now there is a thread on rohit costing us the game. Is it so hard to see how the guy kept dhawan away from amir, and built the platform for our final score.

Lol did you watch Amir bowl . Dhawan on the contrary struggles against spinners early on . Stop making up nonsense to defend this guy
