I can only think of few names in Indian Cricket, who are strong enough to take on arrogant Kohli: Ganguly, Bedi and Vengsarkar. When do you think changes will come? That priceless cricket 'culture' is priceless to create, difficult to maintain, but oh so easy to *ck up. As it is, the mentality in conducting 'business' in India is so far away from a meritocracy, the chalta hai attitude, looking out for yourself and your 'tribe' -whether that's based on territory or tattoos. We have been spoilt and lucky in the 2000s so far with the way the team was run, apart from that blip with Guru Greg. This is the reverse image of that, only that the tumor is not easily excisable. This team needs a firm hand, and proper checks and balances. These last few games have only strengthened that impression.
