Karthik is more athletic but he too does fluff chances because he can be fidgety, will take the toughest chances and drop easiest ones.  Can they make a replacement of Shami who too seems unfit for Navdeep Saini.

They are doubling down. Saha has been told quietly to shut up if he wants to play again. Management wants to take the heat off Kohli for his chutiya selections. 

This also proves that they would rather lose 3-0 than admit mistake and course correct. Spells trouble for the future.

Or this could be an elaborate cover up to save face. Kohli can go to any extent to prove he is right or to escape scrutiny.

Anyways, he is a better keeper than Pappu for sure. At least expect him to catch the regulation ones.. He sucks against spinners though.

How many of you remember Karthik's keeping during Asia cup 2014? Single handedly lost two games when were defending small targets against Pakistan and Sri lanka. It was Kohli's first series as captain and I recall Dhoni fans going nuts after India was out of the tournament.

The bigger problem with DK is his batting.. He cannot play short pitched deliveries in India.. wonder what he'll do against Morkel and Ngidi at Jo'burg..  Pappu wasn't exactly firing all cylinders, but at least he looked more assured.
