No we are not playing like no1 at all, where are the batsmen, take 200 runs by Kohli from the equations, this is is very poor batting side. They need to find two to three all weather batsmen not FTB or meek batsmen. They need to have the ability to fight off adversity.

can decide it once the series is over.as of now batting still is a big big  problem.Shami is proving to be mediocre in ENG. Don't know Siraj can be played in this series .If possible he should replace Shami. And Jadeja replacing another far less productive batsman  too seems to be a good option at this stage.

The most disappointing aspect has been batting and their abject surrender in second innings of second test.Nobody was able to fight and give some resistance.

Disappointing overall, forget the close loss at Edgbaston,a draw at Lord's curtailed match would have meant 1-1 going into 4th test.Conditions notwithstanding, that abject surrender could have been avoided but we were soineless.

should have won at Edgbaston.  we did miss Bumrah there in that test.

It is all about conditions.  i wont blame Indian team for that loss.  All odds were against them in that test, up against extreme conditions while batting in both innings.  When England came on to bat, they got best batting conditions.  Also playing extra spinner was suicidal.  That game could have been more interesting had we played 3rd proper seamer.  We might have seen the Woakes and Bnairstaw partnership then.

Also, these two teams are equally flawed and well matched on paper.  It is not like this Indian team is a great team.  IMO, this series has been a lot about luck till now.

We lacked decent bowlers in first two tests. Bumrah came along and with Pandya's resurgence, we are looking completely different. It's all about making the best use of the conditions and we failed to restrict the opposition on this bowler-friendly wickets during first two tests.

I think there's still room for improvement as we can replace a better seamer for out-of-form Shami.
