Viv Richards: I'd pick Sachin over Lara

Despite Lara being Viv Richards favourite West Indian batsmen, the great man (arguably the best batsmen of all time) still has the objectivity to recognise that Sachin was the superior batsmen.

He was the only active active guy who had seen bradman live.

All things combined,  not at all a surprise most would place Sachin above Lara .But on occasions  when all factors suited him,Lara was  more dominant  than Sachin

I am a sachin fan too. But Why do some sachin fans still need approval from other cricketers ? You setting bad precedent for dhoni fans who already go overboard.The little man retired let him be. He was great. Lara is great too in his own way.

It has Bradman (like playing 2 batsmen) and Sobers (avg 58) .... Supported by Gavaskar, Lara and Richards, who can hit big 100s ....  Gilly .... Hadlee to Marshall are all decent ARs
