can someone share vikram rathour coaching credentials

He settled down in the UK and became a citizen. I wonder when that happened because he served as a selector at some point of time.

He was one of our famous "90s jokes" lol. Zero feet movement. He would stand and try to negotiate the ball. Any time we wanted to make fun of our 90s squad, this guy's name would invariably pop up.  There is something seriously wrong with our system.

His memorable batting during the 96 England tour...

We got to know Rahul Dravid. We got to know Saurav Ganguly. And we got know Vikram Rathour on that tour.

I am sure quite a few in our current batsman would have made their debut when rathore was selector. Hope he is a better coach than batsman. All the best to him.

The only hope is that he absoultely, fully knows how NOT to be an unsuccessful international batsman and thus can help current batsmen avoid the mistakes he did.

Is it possible at all that they offered the batting coach job to Amre and the fielding coach job to Rhodes, but could not agree on contractual terms and had to go to Plan B - Rathour and Sridhar?  But they cannot publicly reveal those negotiations.

I hope he at-least he improves our players batting against spin bowling which isnt same as it use to be apart from pujara. He belongs to a generation of cricketer who played spin damn well.

Legendary batting. Used to go fishing outside off stump and provide catching practice to Eng fielders.

Maybe he can show videos of that tour as an education of how not to bat.

He was never at the crease long enough to play any spin bowling.

Rayudu might have not been a good player of pace but was a damn good player of spin, same manoj tiway

These domestic legends mostly were good players of spin bowling
