There is a thin line between being brave and reckless. Rohit’s shot may have come across as reckless but that moment right there inspired the team to play fearless cricket and go for the impossible win. Lol
Stan AF Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Sometimes I wonder if maniac is Rohit's biggest fan or his biggest troll!!.
Real McCoy Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 He got dues and some. Wonder how he managed to play all these tests considering he has blown away so many chances. Then I realize he is the friend of rat and is married to the superagent's cousin. He got more than his share. maniac/sage is just spitting on the grave of KL Rahul's test career. hope rat doesn't interfere with Gill

Bigg Brother Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 He has got more than what he deserves in test matches, if he makes timeline of himself getting picked up in test match and then getting dropped- he himself would feel ashamed of himself. The guy has been tried at every position in tests, Captain has dropped Pujara for Rohit, Captain himself came out at No.3 to protect this guy just to get embarrassed by debutant bowler. Will always remain a rubbish test batsman no matter what he does in future series. What does OP is talking about?
Vk1 Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 what a turnaround.. he has now become the best batsman of the team ( atleast in home ).. and Kohli is going down the hill very fast.. now who would have imagined this couple of years ago.

raki05 Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Just like opening in ODI has transformed Rohit's career same is happening in test. Ever since he started opening already played some good/great inning both overseas and in India. nevada 1
nevada Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 It's about time he gets his dues - with interest. He has given a solidity to our opening which has been missing for a long, long time. Knowing that an AWOL middle order is batting after you makes the openers' job even more harder. Rohit has done a splendid job as opener in the most challenging conditions. His calm presence at the other end has helped Rahul to up his game as well.
ShoonyaSifar Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 He will be disappointed at not converting these to daddy hundreds. If he has a massive series here (500+ runs) and Kohli continues to struggle, he could very well become the all format captain in a new coaching setup after the T20 WC. Upto Rohit now to deliver the knockout punch. sorak, CodeOfWisden and nevada 2 1

These are the moments where you have to grab the opportunity, although I don't think he is gonna make more than 500 coz that's just too much. OTOH Rahul looks set for 500 runs this series.
sage Posted September 6, 2021 Author Posted September 6, 2021 Hopefully he finally gets his dues (slot as Indian ATG opener)
Autonomous Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 Should have played more test cricket than he has. Would have certainly scored many big daddy innings.
sage Posted September 24, 2022 Author Posted September 24, 2022 Bump. What a knock. Champion averaging 35 with a SR above 150 since the WC still subject to bitter hatred by some Swag 1
Prabhdeep Singh Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 Great player, a lot of hard work and graft has been put in by Rohit. Best Indian batsmen to watch when in full flow. Brute force with flair. Most sixes in international cricket, he is not a slogger, a proper gifted batsmen. sage 1
