Sorry for the long hibernation folks. 

 

We are back with the member interviews' initiative started just over a year back. 

 

We can begin the process of the sixth member interview of this series. Featured poster is @zen who has been a top contributor here for over a decade. 

 

Most of us here on 'Cricket Talk' know him as a passionate cricket fan sans jingoistic fervour, in his words it helps him enjoy the game to the fullest. He appreciates good cricket no matter which team plays. Throw in his usage of statsguru and other tools of analysis, you have a full-blown cricket nerd ready to argue his points, offer counterviews, draw unique conclusions which may not find favor with popular line of thinking over here. No matter how much you disagree with his analysis/conclusions, you simply can't dispute the passion that goes behind his posts and the underlying efforts that demand unlimited patience and firm conviction. He is a lover of all things Mumbai Indians (Wolves) and brings life to ICF during IPL season. And you won't find a bigger supporter of Pujara and Hardik on this forum, something that irks a few ICFers but provides enough material for entertaining, polarizing debates, the very essence of this wonderful forum.

 

He is passionate about a wide spectrum of topics, ranging from the state of the environment to geopolitics to photography, and I am sure I have missed a bunch of other interests of his. He has authored a book in the fantasy action adventure genre, a feat not many can boast of. He is also the designated ICF expert when it comes to movies and TV shows, the way he goes about offering insights into movies from the bygone era, hallmark of a true aficionado!!!

When did you move overseas, do you have plans of coming back to India permanently one day?

I still don’t agree with your favorite vs best categories in movies as they both are subjective. Do you think we should listen to experts and not make our own best movies?
