This is huge. Just 23 years and has won gold in Asian games, CW games and now Olympics. First Indian to win gold in track and field in Olympics. Hope he inspires many more to do well in track and field. This is an area where India has great potential.

He did receive International training and facility though after His Asian games podium finish. He trained In both Iran and China in 2020-21 with world class facilities.

What an amazing moment to see Neeraj win... was watching with the whole family on cards night. What a day! Only thing better would have been Aditi winning a medal - she deserved one. Anyways - hopefully next time she will be one of the favorites.
