How can we ever win with such a pathetic lineup that cannot even bat for 20 minutes each in an innings. Total time they spent at the batting crease is 36 mins.... and that includes the two minutes Kohli spent walking in, edging his first ball and walking back.

 

One guy just plays a block-a-thon, a strokeless wonder and the other two just tamely follow him back. Add to that, the middle guy is the captain and hence, cannot be dropped.

 

Kohli's last 5 innings v/s England include 3 ducks now! Kudos to captain bravado.

 

My rant is over. Others, feel free to vent out here.

After failing miserably in WTC final and having faced severe criticism, I had thought our MO would at least put up a better show (if not a match wining one)

They got almost one and half month in England to prepare, regroup and also start fresh.     But I was hoping against hope

That one month break was a summer vacation ..chuttiyo me koi practice kyu karega bhai ..

These guys have toured thrice to England.  Seniors of seniors in this case.  Practice can only help you so much. 

Clear lack of ability.  These guys are washed up.

India needed a serious refresh in second cycle of WTC after debacle of WTC Final.

 

But TM didn't learn and stick to the same combination.

 

Pujara is done and dusted.

Rahane is near his end though he plays that clutch inning every 5th inning.

Kohli is regressing fastly.

 

Comparitevly, Rohit did well in last cycle and he should be persisted.

Ideal team for 2nd Cycle of WTC should have been

Such a pity that when we finally have our bowlers setting setting workd in fire, our over hyped batsmen let us down and prevent us from reaching greatness.

And two of them didn't even play in that match lol. 

Kohli has lost his ego power he is no longer the giy he used to be, Rahane is a baggage, Pujara is useless.

They were saved in India by Rohit and All rounders. They are main reason for the debacles against NZ.It is just pathetic that they can be so bad for so long.

Biggest problem with player like Pujara is that even when he knows he is struggling and no way going to survive, he still has no ability to hit out and try to get few runs. Just a waste of a place.
