Every bowler sucked today, Ishant gets the most abuse but ends up being  the best bowler.

 

Time  to give him the due he deserves as I have said multiple times.

Anderson for all his condition oriented tag, well atleast in those he is extremely destructive.....anderson in eng is like murali in sl conditions

 

Ishant TBH isnt that destructive in any condition. He had a great start and last 2-3 yrs great yrs but most part of his career has been very frustating and a decline is yet to come

anderson has broad, murali well Kumble, Ashwin etc were as destructive on spin pitches. Fast bowlers need support. Steyn had Morkel. Ishant numbers have drastically improved since he had a good bowling attack and with experience now he knows how to take wickets even when other bowlers are struggling because the support bowlers are still threatening even though things are not going their way. Ishant is the leader of the pack who has figured out the art of bowling in his 30’s much like Zak and Srinath.

Ishant cant complain of support now 

Even in his start he had zak at peak n sree also then came a dull phase but for past few yes he had support. 

N name me one condition where he is as dangerous as anderson in england. Not a disprespect to ishant but thats anderson quality. So no ishant isnt anderson

If someone told me a bowler will get Butler,Ali and Curran cheaply without them doing much damage, I would call that a great performance. Not sure why Ishant is the culprit here.
