Lone Wolf Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 If he wins the WT20.. He will sure as hell stay skipper for ODI WC in 2023. Could be a master stroke. sorak and SRT100 1 1

New guy Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Dont know how just stepping down from t20 captain help his batting considering we play so less t20s and half the time he rests. Should have stepped down from ODIs too ShoonyaSifar, nevada and vvvslaxman 1 2
rkt.india Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Should quit ODI captaincy too. Anyway, we hardly play much t20Is.

Sandeep99 Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Too late. He should step down NOW and let Rohit captain. He should also quit ODI captaincy while he's at it. Enough of choking and brain dead decisions. ShoonyaSifar, sage, Adamant and 1 other 4
Lone Wolf Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Grand slam of Choking coming up... ODI WC 2019 CT17 WTC final only WT20 was left.. Amazing legacy SRT100 and nevada 1 1
Adamant Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Should have stepped down from odi captaincy too. We need Rohit to lead us in 2023 world cup. AuxiliA and Lord 1 1

kepler37b Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 He is too insecure and emotional to be a leader. Thanks BCCI for handling it this way. adi B 1
New guy Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Two points 1) We barely play t20s so no idea how his stepping down only from this format helps his batting. Should also step down from ODIs 2) if its only t20s i don't see any point in making an aged rohit sharma captain, he might not even be around till next t20 WC. Perfect time to have a young captain nevada 1
Adamant Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 This means that with Rohit as captain our chances to win t20WC next year are high. Lord 1
neel roy Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 So Rohit to captain India in 2022 WT20 in Australia.. makes sense.. in Australia you have to chase 190 Every match with flat pitches.. he needs to rediscover his mojo of chasing..

putrevus Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 There is shelf for any captain after that it becomes useless. Kohli is past that shelf life.He needs to regain his form as a batsman and prolong his career.Give up captaincy in all formats.

BCCI has to take a call here. Especially when his batting is in the pits and he is making it into the ODI team only because he is the captain. nevada and asterix 2
